Ed Tushar (President)

Ed Tushar graduated with a BS in Physics from the College of St. Thomas in 1974 and received an MS in Computer Science from Washington Universityin 1986. Mr. Tushar has over 30 years experience in computer programming and software engineering. He currently works at GeoEye, Inc. as a Sr. Geodetic Software Engineer. Mr. Tushar has served as a mentor of the River City Robots high school robotics organization since 2006.


DeAnna Cottrell (Vice - President)

DeAnna has over 20 years of IT experience and has a degree in Legal Studies.  DeAnna is currently employed at Enterprise Holdings as a Contract Specialist in the Information Security department.  DeAnna has been a non-technical mentor for the Channel Cats since 2006 (assisting with field trips, organizing demonstrations and award submissions) and has mentored several Lego League teams and is a frequent volunteer at various FIRST events including FRC, Lego League and Jr. Lego League.


Ralph Lambert (Treasurer)

Ralph Lambert graduated in 1969 from Purdue University with a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis in automatic controls. Mr. Lambert retired from McDonnell Douglas/Boeing as a Chief Engineer after 30 years of work on fighter aircraft flight controls and mission systems avionics. Mr. Lambert currently volunteers at St. Paul grade school as an eighth grade Honors Science teacher, school-wide technology systems coordinator, robotics club sponsor and chess club sponsor. He has served as the chief technical mentor of the River City Robots high school robotics organization since 2002.


Craig Cottrell (Secretary)

Craig has over 30 years of work experience in maintenance, electrical, PLC programming and robotics and graduated from Ranken Technical College with a certificate in Computer Technologies. Craig is currently the Maintenance Manager at Graham Packaging, a plastic blow-molding manufacturer in St. Louis where he has been employed for over 25 years. Craig has 30+ years of experience working with personal computers and networking equipment.  Craig has been a hardware technical mentor since 2006 and frequently volunteers at various FIRST events including FRC and Lego League events.


Mark Gurgol - (Director)

Mark Gurgol graduated from the University of Guelph in 1981 with a BSc in Fisheries and Wildlife Biology. In 1982 he obtained a diploma in computer programming from George Brown College in Toronto. His 30+ career in data processing included inventory control for a food manufacturer, switch maintenance for a cell phone company, silicon wafer data control for a chip manufacturer, and most recently, writing electric billing software for rural electric cooperatives. Mark has been a software mentor since 2006.
